My new story called Henry~
Henry got up and tossed the paper on the trash. Maybe the market was hiring..... it wasn't what you would call *walking distance* but if she left home know it would be mid afternoon when she gets there.
Before leaving she looked up at her mothers diploma, if only her mother was still alive long enough to give Henry that same chance of getting a G.E.D then maybe she wont be stuck where she is know, Henry turned on her heals and started towards the door.
She walked through overgrown bushes and weeds and ducked under tree branches that hanged low. Past a bridge and down alongside of a river and kept walking West.
She soon came to town where the market was only 4 blocks away. Henry passed the salon and stopped and stared. Maybe one day I will be able to go in there...She thought to her self. She could only make out much of what the people were saying. "Sir, we could give you a hair cut that would cost about 20$ plus tax or you could get the *Save the day* makeover which will clean you out $450 bucks no tax unless you want something else," the lady said talking to her customer. "No thanks I only came for the hair cut." He replied. Henry kept on moving on.
Further down She passed the Bistro that was hiring for a dish washer person. They may not like her looks so she kept walking and stuck to the plan she had already. "Get a job at the Market" She reminded her self.
Soon enough she approached the market and walked in. she charmed the casher by telling him how good his prices where and then asked for a job. Of course he said yes, he didn't know he was being tricked at first.
Henry came right back out happily as ever, maybe not as ever but hey she got a job within two months, of getting fired from her last. Know she can pay off some money she owed...
She ran on with joy jumping over logs and leaping over frogs. (he that rhymed) She couldn't wait to get home and do something she haven't done in a long time. Scrub!
Henry grabbed the sponge off the counter and started dipping it in hot water. After it was soggy and hot she started on the doors. She was informed that a carpool was going to come and get her each morning so she wants her house in a good view.
The house was looking better then ever. She chipped it to a new coat inside and out. Know it looks better than ever, hopefully know one comes inside know
Next she needed to dig up some overgrown wild bushes in her yard, but the problem was she didn't own a shovel and the nearest neighbor was at least a half a mile away! Another walk she thought to her self. By the time she got there she saw her neighbor come out the house.
"Oh! Please wait a moment! She yelled. "Hi my name is Henry Shawdow and I live only up the block from you." She said joyfully. "Hello my name is Fran Brass." She replied. They shook hands. "Anyways I came here to ask you for your shovel...if you have one. I am trying to make a good impression for work," She asked politely "Of course i do. I have two kids and they sure know how to dig holes with their hands!" She chuckled.
"Yes follow me over here and I will give it to you,Ok?" She lured Henry to the shed and handed her the shovel."Thank you" Henry thanked and began walking off.
After she was was done the shovel was dripping dirt off the end. "All done," She clapped the dirt off her hands and went back to her house.
